Happy Birthday Brook!!!

Sunday Oct 11th was Brooks birthday. We were down in Utah visiting family for Kenzie, our niece's, baptism so this year we celebrated with Brooks entire family(minus Blake due to him being half way across the world) We had a really yummy dinner, thanks Carol, and had this fun Halloween cake, and again thanks Carol.
Cawa's also enjoyed the yummy dinner. Corn is his fav!!

Helping dad blow out the candles!!

Due is Brook crashing on his motorcycle a few weeks ago his birthday present was kind of boring. We got him a chest protector. Hopefully this will prevent any serious injuries, the rest we will just have to deal with i guess. I wonder if he could ride completely covered in bubble wrap???

Night Owls!!

One happy little boy!!
Due to genetics (Brook and I are both night people) my kids just wake up at night. It really does not matter when they wake up or take naps but the later it gets the happier these kids get.
Every night we do the same routine, tub then shower(Camden has been on a shower kick lately and loves to shower) then we get in jammies. After jammies are on we have "love time" thats when the kids play this goofy game and i decided to get pics of the hugging(for all of you who know us and know that we are not big huggers, i have proof!! JAY). They hug over and over then fall the bed giggling like crazy. It is really cute and nice to see them actually loving on each other instead of beating on each other, huh!!

AHHH, thats love!!

A little boy who loves his big sister!!!

Then they go from the hugging game to the jumping game. They jump over and over and over into the beanbag. They never get tired and i usually have to drag them to bed kicking and screaming cause they want to keep jumping. Sorry there are lots of pics but they were just to cute!! This is Camden doing her spinning move and her face is priceless!!!

Here is Cawa's mid-air doing a little karate move!!

Cawa's is now preparing for his triple flip, spin move!!!
He gets so serious while he is preparing for his jumps, he strikes this pose to gather his concentration. Then....

Oh Ya!!! Pure Joy!!!!
(and no fear)

UTaH tRiP!!!

This past weekend we went on a little vaca to southern Utah. We mainly hung around Bluff, which is an old pioneer town. My Aunt LaRue lives there in an old house that my Great Great Grandfather built after he came throught the hole in the rock. We stayed with her and it was fun to learn a little more about what the pioneers had to endure. (ya, camden gets all her modeling skills from me)

Camden and Cawas would have made some cute pioneer children!!!

Camden, Harley, Hunter, and Cawas hanging around "The Fort".

Pulling a mini handcart!!

This was the actually wagon that came across the Hole In the Rock.

This is the old house my Aunt lives in. It has had a little work done to it but it's such a cute old house.

After we got back from Bluff we hung out at my parents house for a few days to get some quality time with the newest member of our family. Little Aspyn is my best friends (basically sister) new little baby. She is so freaking cute. Camden was a big fan, she kept saying, "mom, when are we going to see that cute little baby."

2nd generation best friends!!
We have a pic of Lacey holding me when i was a brand new baby, (she was a little bit older than me too). I wish i had that pic.

In some down time we even busted out the old games. Bed bugs was a hit, do you think they still make it???

And of course the swing set is a must!!!

We love time at grandma and grandpas. Thanks for letting us stay and hang out!!

on a mission...

So we have been working on finishing Cawa's room, slowly but surely. Pictures will be coming soon, i am super excited about how it is turning out. But i decided that i wanted to decorate a little with some old licence plates. The only problem is i only have like 5 and i think it would be fun to have a few more. So i am sending out a shout out to everyone and if you have any old ones just laying around collecting dust and getting in your way, feel free to send them our way. They would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!!!

Thanks Grandma Great!!!

Brooks grandma who the kids call "Grandma Great" made these amazingly cute little crocheted elephants for them. They are so stinkin cute and the kids love them.
The green one is for Camden and the red is Cawa's. They fight over them all day. Cawa's is starting the age where he knows that the green one is Camdens so he grabs it and takes off running. Then you give him his and he throws it cause he just wants to bug his sister. It is super naughty but actually quite funny. SHH, don't tell him.

Camden absolutely loves hers. The day after she got it she just had to take it to preschool show and tell. And she has slept with it every night since. Thanks so much Grandma Great. We love them!!!
