something to do~~

Brook has been getting into playing racket ball with some friends and Cawas always wants to go with him but somehow he always gets left out. So the other afternoon we decided to go to the rec and watch dad and play in the play yard just for something to do. They play in the play yard all the time but usually with other kids and so we took advantage of having the place all to ourselves and built this castle!! It was sweet if i do say so myself!!

sICk DaYS

So this past week our house has been a germ zone!! I started it with a head cold then i passed it to my kiddos. Camden got the same head cold and Cawa's got this fever thing that has been going around. So we have been home bound for the week. We had to get creative with our time stuck inside so we built this big fort that the kids loved!! (see camdens little face in the bottom left of the pic)
We stayed in pj's, never got ready, and vegged out the whole week. I must say it was quite nice!! The kids played games, watched movies, took their naps and even had picincs in their fort. It was so much fun for them!!

It made their sick week alot more fun than it should have been!! I love Cawas hair, it's getting really long and i am trying really hard not to let anyone (especially Brook) cut it!!

I am happy to report we are now germ and cold free.

My house has been cloroxed down and hopefully Brook doesn't get it.

day full of FUN

Friday was Camdens birthday and we had such a fun day filled with birthday fun!!
We had a friends birthday party with Camdens playgroup friends. Here they are playing duck, duck, goose. I didn't get many pictures but they had fun playing games and eating pizza and cupcakes!!

After playgroup we went down to get Camdens birthday present. Since about Nov. Camden has been asking to get her ears pierced. I thought she would get over but she kept asking me about it so i told her we could go for her birthday. She remembered and was still excited. We told her that they took a needle and put a hole in your ear and that it would hurt but she had made up her mind. She got a little intimidated when we got there, but she picked out some green ones and she was perfectly fine as long as Grandma was holding her.

And that was it!! This is Camdens reaction!! No tears, No crying, No fussing, No sadness at all!! I was super proud of my big girl. I honestly was expecting a meltdown but she was better than ever!!!

Now she is one happy big girl with green earrings! That are way too cute!!

The birthday fun continued with a short break and then we met Grandma, Grandpa, Reed, Melinda, Chandler and Deegan at the one and only Broadway Burger for dinner!! Then back home for Cake and Ice Cream.

Camden had a little help blowing out her candles but she was a good sport about it.

Thats the only bad thing about my kids having their birthdays so close together. Cawa's is still in birthday mode, so he thought that all of the presents were his and then he wanted to blow out the candles. Crazy kid!!(he did it again last night for Kylee, Sorry)

Today Camden turned 4 years old!! Wow, she is getting up there. I was looking through all the old pictures and thinking, man that seems like forever ago, but at the same time, just yesterday! Oh, how we love this little girl!!
Always such a happy little monkey!!

I asked Camden what she loves to do and what she wants me to put on her birthday post, so here is what my big girl said...

She loves to go swimming!

She loves to color and paint!

She loves to play pretend and dressup!

She loves to play outside when it is warm!

She loves being a big sister!

She loves school!

She loves to play with her friends!

She loves her baby sister(she hopes)!

"Mommy wook!!"

Camden was always a book kid. She loved books when she was little and she still does. Cawa's on the other hand not so much! Usually he just makes Camden mad by hitting the pages and gabbing loudly through the whole book. Although Cawa's doesn't like to read books that doesn't mean he lacks the attention span. It is quite fascinating cause he can't sit through a 5 page book but he can sit for hours (literally hours, ask Ruth) looking through motorcycle magazines. Turning the pages at pictures of motorcycles and gear. He says "mommy wook, wook!!(look)" over and over again. Funny, huh!! I wonder where he gets it then i go lay down for the night and oh yeah, his dad does the exact same thing!! Boys and their toys!!

So forever ago i asked if anyone had any extra licence plates laying around... remember that? Ya, like i said forever ago. Well they were for Cawa's room and i have had it finished for awhile now i just never posted anything but i have had a few requests to see the finished product. So here it is.

I was proud of my curtains. I made them myself with left over scraps from his quilt. And my big "C" is a little lopsided but thats cause i cut it out with the saw myself.(Never a good idea)

I even got as far to organize the closet which stays very nice and organized thanks to my -OCD toy putting away where it goes- problem!!!

Party Time!!

For Cawa's birthday last week we were in Utah so we decided to have a party for him. My amazing mother-in-law made all of the pizza and we had to food and cake part at her house!! So a huge thank you to her!!
We went swimming at the Clearfield aquatic center (which was really fun)!! Here are some of the non-swimming spectators!!!

Camden loved the big slide!! Her face says it all!!

This is proof that even I got in the swimming pool. It may not have been a pretty sight but i sacrificed for my baby!!

Cawa's was having a rough day because of his lip but he still had fun on the baby slide. He wanted to go over and over again.

Grandma bought Cawa's this train set for his birthday and he love, love, loves it. It has been set up everyday since his birthday. Thanks Grandma and thanks to everyone who came to Cawa's party!!

the perfect birthday...almost

Cawa's had such a good birthday, til the very end. We were at Grandma and Grandpa's house so that is a plus from the start. Grandma started out the day with pancakes and a morning birthday song!!
We had a fun day with Grandma and Grandpa. We went out to eat, went to a basketball game, then finished the day off with cake and presents!!

Cawa's was so excited playing with his toys, he was running around playing so happily and then....disaster hit!

He fell off the window seat and put his top teeth through his bottom lip. And he ripped that little piece of gum on the top lip thats connected to the front teeth. He was bleeding all over and miserable that night and all the next day.

This is the outside of his lip. (don't mind his dirty mouth, he won't let me clean it very good, still) this picture was taken today so his poor injury happened 3 days ago.

Here is the inside of his lip. It's kind of gross, sorry if you have a weak stomach. It looks like his teeth cause it's white but that is the inside of his lip.

I am hoping that it heals right. I am a little worried but what do you do now!!
