Party Time

For Cawa's birthday we had a fun little party. Reed, Melinda, and the boys came over to celebrate. We did presents and then had cake and ice cream. It was really nice and the kids all had fun.
Mr. Cawas didn't really get into opening his presents, I think he still a little young but he had a lot of helpers that were more than happy to open his presents. It was a good thing cause we would have been there all night. Cawas way of opening (with his mouth) was not the most efficient.

While we were singing happy birthday Cawas had the cutest look on his face. It was like he was thinking "i know this birthday thing is a big deal and i get to eat that whole cake myself." His tiny hint of a smile is my favorite. It was so cute!!

He dug right in and loved every second of it.

He was quite a mess!! But you only turn 1 and get a whole cake to yourself once.

Happy birthday to you, you live in a zoo, you look like a monkey, and you smell like one too!!!

Mr. Cawas is our little monkey and we love that about him. He is turning 1 today and

i think that was the fastest year ever!!! I can't imagine life with out my little man.

He is such a fun, goofy little dude who keep us busy!!!

There are so many things that i love about my little guy and i just don't have time to write them all down but i sure am the luckiest mom there ever was.

Cawa's loves his tubs, that is his favorite time of the day. He plays until the water gets to cold.

Cawa's is such a smiley little guy, we just love him!!!

Cawa's favorite thing to do is empty out every cuboard and climb on everything. Chairs, beds, dishwashers, and just about everything else.

Snow Fairies

Today we woke up to snow and Camden was so excited!!! She loves the snow and wanted to go out and play in it. It was so freezing cold, I didn't really want to let her go out but there was no changing her mind. So we bundled her up, with her hat, "globes", coat, and boots and sent her on her way! She instantly layed down on the porch and started making a snow angel. It was so funny, I asked her what she was doing and she said "i am making snow fairies"

I felt bad for her out there playing by herself. She looked lonely but she was having so much fun. I didn't have the heart to bring her in.

My dad sent this to me when we first moved here to good ole Wyoming!! At first i didn't think it could possible be true but oh ya baby, you better believe it!! This week has actually been quite nice but last week was honestly a 90 degree angle week. I seriously thought that our house was going to blow away. It did blow some of our shingles off but that was something small and some of our friends got it alot worse. We were just grateful to have a nice place to live so we had shelter from that crazy wind!!!

Re-do!!

I am the luckest girl ever. It's true, I am spoiled by my cute husband!!! I was having a little midlife crisis and i got it in my head for some reason that i wanted to get rid of my entertainment center and re-do my family room. So my cute husband just went along with my crazy ideas. Then on top of that i gave him a list of things that i needed him to make for me. I wanted this corner cabinet so that i could put a few pictures up. He went right to Home Depot and got the stuff and whipped it up. It is amazing, I love it!!! I had to show it off, he did such a good job. I love having a handy husband who can and will make me anything i want.

He even put a light in the top shelf.

HaPpY NeW YeArS!!!!!!!

Happy New Years to everyone!! Hope everyone had a safe, fun and happy new years. We did!! We went over to Reed and Melindas for a fun night of rock band, good treats, good company, and fun, fun, fun!!! Brook was rockin out on the drums!!

Camden and I took our shot at the drums and it was really fun!! Camden has a bright future in the music industry!!

Stuart and Carol decided to make the trip up to spend new years with us. It was fun and the kids loved it. All 4 of the kids stayed up all the way til midnight, and they were all in a good mood, suprisingly enough!! But it was fun cause they got to do the noise makers and poppers as loud and as much as they wanted it was really fun!

And they said that noise makers are just for the little kids!!

Camden was very festive this year!! This is her 3rd new years and she has stayed up til midnight for every single one. She is just like her mom and dad, a night owl!!!

Our 2nd Christmas!! Spoiled!!!

I am not going to lie it was so nice to just stay home on Christmas and not go to Utah. We totally missed our family and we are so lucky they still love us enough to drive up to see us. My mom and dad drove up a few days after Christmas and Camden was the happiest little girl you have ever seen. She just loves her Grandma and Grandpa.
Mr. Cawa' s seconds that. He had more fun when G & G came up then he did on Christmas. He was so excited.

Spoiled rotten!! It was like a second Christmas. Thanks mom and dad, We love you!!!

Carter got more into the whole present opening thing with my parents. It was fun and boy does he love his ball popper. He plays with it for hours.

Camden loves to cuddle with her grandma.

Christmas Day at our house!!

I think in almost every house it is tradition for the kids to open up jammies on Christmas eve. Well our house is no exception and I had to get a cute pic of the kids in front of the Christmas tree. Camden loves her jammies, she calls them her "huge" jammies cause they are the big ones with the feet. She loves them, i can't wash them fast enough.
There was only 1 thing on Camdens list to santa this year and that was a "piggy bank" for her "college fund". She has been telling everyone that is the only thing she wants for Christmas. (thanks Lacey) She loves putting her money in it and whenever anyone comes over she asked them for change.

We don't know how to work the timer on our camera so we couldn't get a pic of all of us (bummer) but here is one of me and the kids before we went to bed to wait for santa! Cawa's is still little and didn't really get into Christmas this year. Camden opened most of his presents for him and he just played with the paper. I didn't get a good picture of that either.

When Camden opened her piggy bank on Christmas morning it was like there where no other presents at all. She was done. Man, I should have just got her that! Would have saved on alot of other shopping.

Dad got Camden some little ponies to paint and they were a hit. She is an artist at heart!
