Spring Break...

Last week was spring break and boy was it a busy week. I really didn't want to stay at home and try to entertain all of these kiddos with the wind and cold spring that we have had. So we headed to Utah for a few days of adventure. Our first adventure...the Living Planet Aquarium. The kids loved all of the animals and fish. They loved the penguins and the otters. Carter loved the sharks.

 



We were watching the penguins and the kids wanted to see what penguins were closest to their size. We took a picture and then we were ready to move on. Well most of us...Colbie wasn't ready to move on so she stood there with her arms crossed and a sweet or nor so sweet look on her face. Other little kids were waiting for there turn and watching Colbie like "What is wrong with you??" This is one stubborn little girl. 

Crew loved watching the otters. He thought they were pretty cool! He could have watched them for hours!

Eaten by a shark. We had such a great day visiting the aquarium.

10 months

Crew is 10 months old today! Man, time flies with these kids! I love this little face so much!

Some facts about my big boy...

Crew is now a very experienced crawler. He is everywhere and into everything. He is super fast too! He even had his first (and I am sure not his last) tumble down the stairs. It was pretty traumatic. Mainly for mom I think, cause I was one step behind him trying to stop it from happening but I was too late and it was harder seeing him bonk down every step.

Crew is climbing up on everything. He pulls up and stands every chance he gets and so badly wants to just take off walking. This means he always has a head full of bruises. He falls all the time poor kid.

Crew is  great sleeper and still takes 3 naps a day. Long naps sometimes 4 hours.(if the house is quiet) He sleeps good at night but rarely through the night. He usually just needs his binkie or some orajel. His teeth have been bugging him lately.

He has 1 bottom tooth but the other one is so close to being through and his top 4 I can see but they haven't broken the skin yet.

Crew doesn't have much hair but it looks like it might be brown like Camdens. Every once and awhile I catch a tint, very faint but a tint of red.

Crew is still a mamas boy! There are just some things that moms do best. He still loves dad very much and cries when he leaves the room but some things he just needs mom. He falls asleep best for me, which yes I still rock my baby to sleep but I get to cause he is my baby baby! 

Crew love, love loves his older brother and sisters! If they will include him he will play with them for hours. Just crawling around them and whatever they are doing. He is happy!

 Crew is a chubby baby weighing in at 21 lbs.

Crew loves to eat, hence him weighing 21 lbs. He loves baby food and packs quite a bit of it away.

Crew is such a happy baby, he is always smiling and happy. He will smile at everyone and anyone. He is also a quiet one. He is the strong silent type.

Crew loves being outside. He would stay outside all day long if he could but it has been so stinkin cold that the poor kids always gets stuck watching out the back door!

This is how most of the pictures I take of this boy lately are turning out. He is so quick I can't get one of him holding still. He is always on the move! I just can't get enough of this cute baby boy! He is very loved!!

Play Group

I had my last (for the year) play group yesterday! I love this play group, we have such a great group of kids. They are all 5 or 4 turning 5 soon and they are so easy! They all just play! But with Easter coming up soon we had a killer Easter Egg Hunt! They kids loved it and Carter had a blast stuffing the eggs and picking out all the fun treats!!

It was even semi warm, at least warm enough to go out for 10 mins to look for eggs!

My Brother

Today is my cute brother and his wife's second anniversary! I normally don't tribute everyone's anniversary but I have these amazing pictures of these two so I couldn't pass up the chance. While we were in Utah my mom wanted a updated picture of these two for her wall so we went outside for a photo shoot. This is what I got...all I can say is that Corrisa is a SAINT and going straight to heaven for having Jay as her husband!  He doesn't have a serious bone in his body! They are the cutest couple! I am so glad you two found each other! I am so happy Corrisa is in our family!  Happy Anniversary guys!

This little monkey started official crawling this week! He has for quite sometime been able to get around by rolling and sitting up in different areas but he now official crawls. I love when my kids get to this point cause now he is so happy to just crawl around and explore. Plus it is so stinking cute to watch his little body move. It is very scary to me how fast he is growing up though. I do not like that!!

 

Crew is also cutting some more teeth so he is a drool monster lately. Colbie thought it was hilarious to have crew wear these pink sunglasses and Crew didn't even care. Silly boy! He sure is handsome!!! 

Playing School

These kids have been playing school lately. Camden is the teacher and Carter, Colbie and Crew are the students. They have writing time, reading time, free time, show and tell, math class and music. I love it! They have name tags and backpacks and notebooks. I love when my kids play so good together and they aren't in front of something electronic. Its so cute and I remember playing hours and hours of school when I was a kid. It was one of my favorite games. Cute kids, I just love them!!!

Birthday Party!

Grandma and Crew

We went to Utah this weekend to celebrate my moms 60th birthday! We had an awesome party and such a great weekend! We love our Grandma and hope she had a great day!! Happy Birthday Mom!!!



Lacey made the trip up to hang out with us and help with the party! HUGE thanks to her and all of her help! Plus these two got to hang out and they were pretty excited about that. Cute girls! And Lace and I might have started a new tradition...shopping with no children, it was amazing!

Camden and Grandpa! Watch BYU loose, sad! My dad did so much for the party, he was awesome especially since he doesn't even like parties.

Carter was happy playing trains but he didn't feel good the whole weekend, poor kid. He still doesn't feel good. I hope he gets over this crap soon. I am so sick of sick kids!

Prunes

This little turkey loves his baby food! But he is so hard to feed. He rocks back and forth the entire time I am trying to feed him. So he makes quite the mess. This was actually a good day but because it was prunes he was eating it showed up more in the picture. Silly boy!

I think I must take to many pictures because my 9 month old baby knows exactly what to do when the camera is pointed in his direction. Smile big!! Handsome boy!!
