1st Day

I can't believe summer is over already. We had a great summer but it is always sad to see it go. My kids were SO looking forward to going to school. And I couldn't wait either, I forgot how much I need the structure! They all had their first day yesterday and they all loved it!!

2nd Grade

Camden was so excited for 2nd grade. For the last 3 weeks she has been asking me how we can make school come faster. She was more then ready. After school yesterday she kept saying "I just love school". That makes me so happy that my girl loves to learn and is such a great student!

 

Kindergarten

Carter started Kindergarten yesterday and he was so excited! He was hardly even nervous. He didn't even let me walk him in. I walked him to the front door and he was like "I can find it from here". I can't believe how big he is. He has grown up so fast but he still doesn't seem big enough to be at school for 6 hours every day. He loved it though and did awesome!

We have been waiting for the past 3 weeks for Carter new glasses to come in and they called me yesterday when the kids were at school and told me they were in. We went right after school to pick them up. They are so cute on Carter. I love them. They are ninja turtles so I am crossing my fingers that this little boy will wear them.

Preschool

This little miss started preschool yesterday to!! She was SO excited that she got to go the same day as the big kids. This is her posing like the big kids! I love how she is puffing out her chest like, ya I am big now!

She watched the big kids so close that after I got the first picture she did her thumbs up all by herself. She is so big! She walked right into her preschool, hung up her backpack, said "hi Miss Merlee" and disappeared into the room to play. She didn't even glance back at me! She has lots of friends in her class that she knows and she said she had a great day when I picked her up.

 

For two hours, twice a week I get to hang out with this little man! It is just me and him! He loves having one on one time! We are going to have fun!!

It doesn't get much cuter then that!!!

Whistle

I can't believe how big my baby boy is. Last week he passed his 15 month mark. He is growing so fast and becoming quite the little personality! Crew still is still a very chill kid. He is quiet and happy. He doesn't talk at all. His first and only word is "Dad". He is happiest outside and with his brother and sisters. Crew is very friendly, he will go to anyone. At church he just walks up to some random people and backs into them to sit on their lap. He loves his blanket, binky and his own bed! He is a good sleeper most of the time but lately he is teething so sleep is optional! He has the blondest hair and still totally looks like his daddy!! He has this amazing strut! He puffs out his chest and rocks it out. He hates getting dressed so a lot of the time he doesn't even wear a shirt! He loves Mt Dew...shocker! He must be my kid!!

Crew has started whistling. He is so funny but he will just walk around the house like this whistling. He thinks it is hilarious when you whistle back to him. What a funny boy! We just love this kid and yes he is TOTALLY spoiled! But that's what happens when you are the baby! He doesn't even hold his own sippy cup or bottle. If he wants to be carried he just stops walking and cries until somebody comes to pick him up. He is spoiled and I would have it any other way! We just love this little Crewbear!!

a ToothFairy visit

 

Carter lost his very first tooth this week. It has been loose for a month now but finally it was too wiggly to eat and Brook gave it a little tug and out it came! He was pretty excited!!  

He put it under his pillow and the tooth fairy came! He LOVED that part! I can't believe that my boy is old enough to loose a tooth and start Kindergarten soon. He is growing up so fast! Big boy!!!

swimming lessons

We started swimming lessons last week. My kids love the water so learning to swim is a must in this family. Camden is a fish and is in level 4, Carter and Colbie are in level 1. This is Colbies first time in swimming lessons and it was pretty hilarious to watch her. I am taking my camera next time to get her awkwardly trying to do what the teacher asks. Silly girl!

Splash Pad

My kids LOVE going to the park. They especially love the water and splash parks. We go almost every morning. We are sad to see the park days come to an end.

They love playing with all of their friends!

Crew loves playing in the water! My kids have some pretty awesome tan lines from their many park days! I suck at sun screen.

Sandbox fun

This little boy loves the sandbox. He will sit out there all by himself and play for ever. He usually eats the sand but he has been getting better. Such a cute boy!!

Usually our sand box is full! They love it!
