Boys and their Toys

So i sent Brook to the store tonight (at like 10:30) for a few groceries for our vacation and guess what he came home with...

oh ya, a 4-wheeler!!!

For real, do you know how many times i asked my parents for a power wheel and i never in my life got one (it's okay mom, i got over it) but my spoiled rotten little children get one for no reason at all. It's not Christmas, nobodys birthday, just for the h- of it.What i nice daddy!!

So we put it together and Cawa's got to try it out. Ya it's like midnight and he is still going strong, Camden crashed but she will try it out in the morning. It was really cute once he figured it out. I thought he would throw himself off it the way he guns it. Thanks daddy!!! (Next time i think i will just go to the store myself, shhh)

Jam time

Something i have always wanted to do was make some yummy freezer strawberry jam. I have never dared to make it cause i always pictured it in my head being really hard, taking like all day, having jam splattered all over my kitchen including the walls and celing, and my kids being ornery and screaming cause i have ignored them all day just for a few jars of jam. Ya, sometimes i have quite and imagination.

Finally I braved it and i was very pleasently surprised. It was way easy. It took like 3 hours and we were taking our time. I didn't even hardly have a mess (even with my two little helpers) and Mr. Cawa's slept the whole time. It was amazing. My friend Alison helped me and we made 4 batches. It was really fun. But there are no guarantees on what it tastes like!!

This is some of our finished product. Sorry i just have to show off a little!!

Now is anyone brave enough to try it?!?

Tea Please...

So my next door neighbor, Anne, has this fun Tea Party every once in a while. The kids love it they have so much fun. This time they all got to decorate a hat before hand (which Camden decorated hers with limited help from mom) then when we got there everybody dressed up. Camden found this little Dora Fairy outfit and thats what she picked. It was cute. Then they had a little fashion show (which Camden didn't get into, she is like her mom and having that many people stare at you is not our idea of fun) But the Packer girls modeled and did an awesome job. They drank Tea (juice) out of real tiny little tea cups, which Camden loved. She thought it was so fun and she even mastered the pinkie up technique. Then we listened to stories from Anne's mom. Thanks Anne it was way fun!!!

All the cute tea party girls!!!

Duh, It took two years to figure out!!

Two years ago this weekend Brook and I packed up everything we owned in 2 trailers. Put Camden, then 18 months old, in the car and headed east. We didn't know a soul in the windy state and had no clue what we were getting ourselves into but we were young and dumb. So we did it anyway. I have wonder many times since then why would anyone in their right mind like WY??? It now just clicked inside my little head, duh. This is the veiw out of the west side of my house. Looks amazing, huh!?! Ya, its really ugly but guess who it appeals to?

Anyone with a 2 or 4 wheel toy!!
Also my entire family!!! This is what they love to do, and this is the best place for it. Brook can take off with his motorcycle right from our garage and he is in heaven. He comes home from work, jumps on his bike and takes off for half hour. It's the perfect place!! Camden is following suit and loves to go for rides on dads bike. She also loves this little 4 wheeler that my neighbor has that it the perfect size for her. Almost every day she asks if she can take out the "4 lheeler". She is actually driving it in this pic.

Then there is Cawa's. He doesn't even know that there are other things for little boys to play with besides motorcycles. His whole little life revolves around them. They are the first toy he picks up in the morning and then he goes into the garage and wants to ride anyone of the three in my freakin garage. Someone is constantly riding up the road and jumping on the jump thats within view of my window. Cawa's just stands there and points and grunts. He found his first love!!!

My two handsome boys love their toys!!!

That is one happy little girl!!
