Project #1...done

Project #1
My storage room has been one of the places that was organized for a few months and then everything was just thrown in on top of everything else!! So soon you can hardly walk in and find anything, let alone put anything new in there. So today i needed to tackle this project!! And suprisingly it wasn't that hard. Not too much heavy lifting (nothing i couldn't do by myself) and it only took about 3 hours!!
Ahh... finished!!
With plenty of walking room and empty storage space for more crap i can find to throw in there! Plus now i now where everything is for upcoming boy or girl baby needs!! I love days like today when i actually have something to show for my day!! I rarely make "TO DO" lists but i made one for this week so i will keep you updated on my checked off items!!

Here comes Trouble!!

And it comes in the shape of a little man named Cawa's!!! And trouble is exactly what he is most of the time!! Don't let the sweet little face fool you, if he is quiet then usually something like this will be following soon!! I guess thats a 2 yr old for ya!! Oh how i love my little man, even when he is naughty!!

zOo tIMe

Last weekend Brook went to the sand dunes in Utah with his friend and i didn't really want to go to Utah again, (i feel like we go all of the time now with baby appointments) but i have spring fever pretty bad and i didn't want to just sit around and be lazy... so we decided to pack up and head to the zoo!! The weather was jacket weather but perfect to walk around the zoo and check out the baby animals!!

Measuring up to the apes!!
I dragged my friend Ruth with us on our little trip. I think(hope) she had fun except for the driving. I was driving so that put her on kid duty and Camden gets car sick so poor Ruth had to clean up all of poor Camdens nasty throwup, both ways!! Sorry Ruthie!! But we are all super glad you came and looking forward to our next trip!

The zoo had the cutest baby giraffe!! I love Giraffes, they are so strange!! This was a monumental trip to the zoo for Ruth!! This was the first time EVER that she had seen a giraffe in real life!! We had to document the occasion!!

Riding the carousel!!

My kids we sooo less interested in taking pictures as they were checking everything out!!
The zoo also had cute baby tigers, a baby elephant, a baby crocodile, and soon some baby turtles!! Soon being the word, we didn't seen the baby turtles we just saw them being made, that was special and something i don't think Camden will ever forget!!

All of us riding the train!! Camden was not happy about this strange guy taking my camera, as you can tell!! And Cawa's is hiding back there!!

not another photo shoot, mom!!!!

I try really hard every year to get pictures of my kiddos around their birthdays. I like to see how much they have grown over the past year!! I was a little late this year with the chilly weather and the endless colds, runny noses, and coughs. But we finally were successful. I need to still go back and get some of both of the kids together but... one step at a time!!
So blah, blah, blah, here is Cawa's at his 1st birthday photo shoot!! Wow, he was so tiny and hairless!! Oh, but still sweet!!
And now... my big boy!!
I think that is the biggest jump, between 1 and 2!! The was they change physically and also how much they learn!!

Ahh, i could just eat him up, he is so stinkin cute!! (sorry, braggy moment)

I just wish my kids would stop growing right now!! They are both at such a fun, perfect little age! I just want to FREEZE that little face right NOW!!!

So here is Camden at her 3rd birthday photo shoot!!
Then...

...quite a jump but still that same little sweet face!!
She is insisting on growing out her hair so it is longer than it has ever been before and i think that is what makes her look so old. I will just keep telling myself that!

Oh i love that cheesy smile!!
She loved the blue wall!! It was starting to get a little windy and the police were out to get us so we might have to go back out to get some more. I could probably go out everyday and torture my kids with photo shoots!!
Man, i might be bias but i think my kids are cute!!

"Future FighterFighters"

We went on a tour of the local Fire Station last night!! It was super fun!! Our friend Steve is a Fireman so we got a personal tour!! It was really interesting and fun for the kids! I am glad Stevo sacrificed his dinner time to show us around!! Thanks Steve it was great!!

My kids are always shy at this kind of stuff but they love Steve aka "Eve"(as cawas calls him) so it didn't take them long to warm up, then they loved the big fire trucks!! Cawa's loved sitting in the drivers seat. He always wanted the "ligh-lights on"!

"Say Cheese"
Camden calls Firefighters "Fighterfighters" it's really cute!!
The jacket was as big as Camden!!

Steves boots went clear up to Cawa's waist!! I hurried and took the pic before he tipped over in them!

Thats one big ole tire!! Thanks again Stevo!!

Inner Apolo...

Like many people we too got into the Olympic spirit over the past month watching the Olympics!! So we had to try out our inner Apolo... we had a little problem...we don't really have an inner Apolo! In fact we totally sucked!! But we had fun, nobody got hurt, and at least we got our butts off the couch, right!!

Camden was a little unsure of the ice, she felt very unstable and she spend alot of the time on the bench watching all the big kids!! But she says she had fun and wants to do it again.

Taking a break on the bench!!

I think she is just happy to be out of the house!!

Cawa's had the cutest little skates. It's amazing they make them that small. Cawa's loved the ice skating. We just held him up the whole time, which was not fun on your back, but he held his feet out perfectly and we could get going pretty fast with him!!

So i guess we don't have any future Olympians in our family, at least not in ice skating! Who knows maybe next we will try out our inner Sean White skills!!
