Tis the Season...

Tis the Season for PARTIES!!!

We went down to Utah this past weekend for some party time!! Cawa's got festive with his "elf hat" as Camden calls them!!
Also we enjoyed many feet of snow my in-laws get this time of year. Camden and Grandma went out to play in the snow and they wrote out Camden in the snow if you look close you can see it. They are standing in the C.

Cawa's whole little world revolves around "pa pa" It is cute, he doesn't even care about anyone else when papa is around. He is sitting on my lap as i am blogging and yelling at me "papa, papa" over and over and pointing!!

Our Mary this year was played by Camden!! She was so cute she just sat there quietly while we read the Christmas story. I told her that her one job was to make sure baby Libby(baby Jesus) didn't fall out of the manger. She was successful.

Cawa's didn't want to dress up but he loved looking at baby Jesus!!

Opening presents!!! It took my kids forever to open their presents. I think Christmas morning might last awhile at our house!! Camden was so cute once she got her present open. She honestly looked like she was going to cry with excitment. She loves snow white and it was a cute snow white purse with all the accessories. I think i could take everything else back and she would be content!!!

We also went to the annual Pinate Party for my mother-in-laws side of the family. I left my camera home but it was a blast.

What's next?

We had our ward Christmas party last weekend and to say the least it was a success. Good food, good company, entertainment, and most important Santa!!! This is Camden and her boyfriend Bradoc. Camden loves this little boy and let me tell you that is perfectly fine with me. He is the cutest, most polite little man i have ever met and i think they are a perfect match!!

It was so cute after the party we were headed home and Camden says "What holiday is next, mom?" She thought that because we had met santa and received a treat bag that Christmas was over. Moving on to the next holiday!! It was cute, i then told her how we celebrate Christmas all month and that she will have lots of parties and she will probably see Santa again. Oh the mind of a 4 year old.

Cawa's waiting in line patiently and when it got to his turn he decided against it. But after he saw the treat bags he chose to try the line again and brave sitting on a strange mans lap!! What kids will do for a bag of treats! (p.s.- did you notice how big my baby is getting, what the crap! We cut his hair a little and now he looks like he is all grown up!)

tuRkEY dAy

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!! I love all the food plus all of the thanks makes it one of the best!! I wanted to make an advent calender for my kids. I took me forever cause i am the slowest person ever to finish a project, but they turned out cute and the kids love them!! Everyday for the month of Nov the kids get to pluck a feather and on the back it says something that we should be thankful for that day and an activity!! Camden loved it everyday she picked a feather she said "look mom, it says we are thankful for pies so we better make one!" It was fun how much she got into it this year.
My parents and brother were so sweet to come all the way here to windy, cold Wyoming for the holiday this year. We are so grateful for having them in our lives!! Thanks for coming guys it was a blast!!

Not much to do in our small town but we did manage to squeeze in a turkey bowl!! My kids love to go bowling and so does my daddy!! It was super fun and the bowling alley here is super nice!!

The kids actually beat Uncle Jay and Grandma!! They did awesome and got a strike and a few spares!!

Mr. Man is a big fan!!

I will tell you, i absolutely suck at bowling i am lucky to break 100 (very lucky, like i have only done it once) but it was my day and i whooped everyone!! I got 145!! I even got a TURKEY!! Yeah for me!! Sorry i have to brag a little, my brother is like one of the people who is good at everything (except bowling) so i have to rub it in his face a little!!!

Mr. Cawas

I just love that dirty little face!! So if you know Brook and I you know that we never ever call each other by our names, like ever!!! We always call each other "hun". So Cawa's the other day was in the bathroom washing his hands and he got high-centered on the counter and couldn't get off. I hear him in there yelling "hun, hun, skuck! hun!" it was so funny. So i went in there and i said "hey cawa's what is my name?" and he was like "hun" and then he ran off. It's probably not a good thing but its super cute!!!
Also my little boy is Americas next "top chef, or baker" if there is such a thing. This little boy loves to cook and he loves to get out every cooking thing in my kitchen and then he plays with it for hours!! We have 2 little play kitchens down stairs but he likes the real stuff!! And whenever i am making anything he assumes the position on the counter and has to help!!!

Take things out of one dish and put them in another!! Funnest game EVER!!

And occasionally we have to get the real food. Hard noodles are a hit. He is making noodle waffles here i think!

Camden, one tough cookie!!!

So my little girl is anything but little anymore. I hate it, she is growing up so fast and she is so dang smart. The other day i put Cawa's down for a nap and i could here her out in the kitchen singing. So when i came out she said "mom listen to this..." and then she proceeded to say (with her hand over her heart) the entire Pledge of Allegiance!! I was shocked, i no clue that she was even learning it and bam she already know the whole thing! Her preschool teacher is amazing. I asked her where she learned that and she said "we say it everyday at school mom." Ya, crappy mom, i don't even know what my kid is learning at school.

And trust me it gets worse.
So last night we had a few people over for yet another amazing fight night!! I was making cookies and i had just pulled a pan our of the oven and put it on the counter. Camden must have seen me put the cookies up there cause like 1 min later she came up to me and said "mom i got an burn on my lip." (ya, i don't know what my problem is with my kids and burn but i totally suck!) So she said she looked up to see the cookies and got to close and burned right above her lip. Poor little girl. (don't mind the "wiskers" she said she was a cat and drew wiskers on her face after church)

She is a tough little woman though she didn't even cry once and it had to of hurt. There was a big blister and everything!!

1,825 days of FUN!!!

So yesterday Nov 12 was our 5 year anniversary!! Wow, how time flys!! I didn't want to bore everyone to death with pictures of our wedding. Plus my little brother always says "good thing you guys got married when you were 12" ya, thanks jay. We do look very young in our wedding pics and i didn't want to expose us to more ridicule about our age. So instead i put some cute pics i found of the 3 best things that have happened to me in the last 5 years!!

HaLloWeen FUn

We had another fun halloween at our house this year!! With candy and dress up how can it not be fun!! This is the only pic i got of Mr Cawa's in his puppy costume, he is not a big fan! Camden on the other hand has pretty much lived in her witch costume for the last month. We did tons of fun stuff this past week, including, pumpkin carving, birthday parties, carnivals, spooky dinners, trick or treaking, and tons of candy!!! Of course i only had my camera for the ward carnival so i only have a few pics!! Hope everyone had a great, safe Halloween!!!
