Doesn't get any better...

It really doesn't get any better then this. Good company (Brooks family), good food, fun toys, tons of water, beautiful canyons, and perfect weather. We had another successful year a lake powell. I took tons of pics so here are just a few. Thanks for the fun times Stuart and Carol!!!

Mr. Cawa's had fun running on the tramp. He was such a little trooper and did really good this year.

Chandler, Deegy, and Camden were watching over the edge of the top of the house boat.

The boys play this fun football game every year. It's a blast to watch and the guys have fun playing it. Someone stands on the top back of the house boat and launches the football. Then two guys on the wave runners take off after it and jump off the catch it. It's hard to see but Brook is catching the ball and even keeping his feet "in".

We took a ride over to the Indian ruins near by and went for a hike to see them. Camden liked the little underground houses.

Mr. Cawa's didn't want to get out.

Brook went for a crazy ride on the wave runners. He even flooded it so bad that it didn't work the rest of the week. He felt really bad.

Brook wake boarding!! He did awesome!!!

This is our fun little cove. It is so perfect. This is the 3rd year in a row that we have gotten it. It is in the shade ALL the time and there is tons of sand and rocks for the kids to play on on.

That's one happy little girl!! I think this is her favorite place on earth!!!

cAmpInG fuN

I have done a lot of camping in my day and I have never been camping where this little sign was nailed to the picnic table. That made me a little nervous!!!

We went camping this last weekend to Half Moon Lake. It is up by Pinedale and is was really pretty. Next year hopefully we can make it up there when is a little warmer so we can take the boat.

Mr. Cawa's first trip really camping in a tent and he did awesome. He loved just chillin by the fire!! And suprisingly he didn't fall in the fire, we all know how much he loves to get burned!!

Master Chef Brook.

I told her to smile and this is what i get!!!

Buried in this mass of blankets Cawa's is sleeping soundly. He slept in while everyone had breakfast. He was out!!!

Reeds new 4-wheeler was a hit this year. The kids went for ride, after ride, after ride. They loved it. Thanks for the fun, Reed!!

Saftey first. Cawa's has been on hundreds on motorcycle rides and never had a helmet, he wasn't quite sure about it. He could barely hold his head up.

And she's off!!!

Too much camping for one little man!!!

The whole crew!! Thanks for coming, it was fun!! Put it on your calenders for next year. (Maybe in July though, a little warmer would be nice)

Checkin out the frezzing cold water!!
Camden and Deegan!!

While we were cleaning up our stuff it started hailing on us. It was pretty big hail too.

On the way home we stopped in Farson for a little ice cream break. It was really yummy and HUGE(and cheap)!!! Two happy kids!!!

Singin in the rain

This post is a little late but we have been busy and blogging is the last on my list of things to get done, sorry. But a few weeks ago we had a few chilly, rainy, stormy days. We love the rain at our house. We usually sit on the porch and watch the rain fall. This day we decided to get in on the action and play in the gutters.
The kids loved it. Mr Cawa's had so much fun splashing in the puddles.

Kylee (Cawa's girlfriend) had fun in the puddles too. She is so stinkin cute!!!

Then we had a little slip!! Not so fun anymore.

Poor little man. So much for a bath!!!

Busy Weekend

We decided to tackle our sprinklers this weekend. It was quite a project. We have done many a sprinklers but this is the first time that we already had the grass down first and it made it tons more work. We can't complain cause we got 90% of our grass for free. But it is so nice to have the sprinklers in and workin good. Big thanks to Reed and Doug for helping Brook like all day!!!

The back yard is trenched and ready to be done when we have another free day to work on it.

We have been having a lot of power outages in the last week in our area. We had a big party planned on Sat. night for the UFC fight. We love fight night at our house, any excuse for a party!!! It was suppose to start at 7 and about 6:30 the power flicked and then went out. CRAP!!! (Thats what i said) My amazing husband is so smart. He plugged into the generator and TA--DA we had power!! At least enough to power the TV, so we could order the fight and then to cook some yummy wings. It was really fun even though things were a little crazy!!!

So it was a little crowded and a little dark but i hope everyone had fun anyway. Thanks for coming everyone!!!

a little fresh mountain air

My dad build a family cabin almost 30 years ago and every summer we try to get up there and spend a week or so. It's just up by Sundance. This year was a much needed, very nice, chill week. Thanks mom and dad for the always fun times.

Mr. Cawas loved the little playground. The slide is always a hit!!
He is giving my mom "death eyes"

It is tradition at the cabin to have the jetted tub make tons and tons of bubbles. I did it when i was a kid and now it's my kids turn!!

Camden had so much fun just playing in the little stream, throwing rocks, and balancing on the bridge. Its so nice to get up into the mountains once in awhile. The smell is my favorite!!! Plus the kids have a blast!!

Mr. Man had his first real experience with corn on the cob and boy it was a hit.

We got to spend some time with my niece and nephew. Cawa's and Hunter are 6 weeks apart and don't play the best with each other quite yet. But soon enough they will be best of friends.

The kiddos practicing a little piano!!

I love this pic. Camden is a fan of the "ice cream on a stick"

Enjoying the mountain air. Can't wait til next year. Thanks again mom and dad!!!

Now what??

So i got this bug in my head that i needed a new camera. So now that i got it, I have no clue what to do with it. Funny huh!!

The good thing is it takes a really good picture without me doing anything!!

I am excited to figure it out!!
