Christmas Day at our house!!

I think in almost every house it is tradition for the kids to open up jammies on Christmas eve. Well our house is no exception and I had to get a cute pic of the kids in front of the Christmas tree. Camden loves her jammies, she calls them her "huge" jammies cause they are the big ones with the feet. She loves them, i can't wash them fast enough.
There was only 1 thing on Camdens list to santa this year and that was a "piggy bank" for her "college fund". She has been telling everyone that is the only thing she wants for Christmas. (thanks Lacey) She loves putting her money in it and whenever anyone comes over she asked them for change.
We don't know how to work the timer on our camera so we couldn't get a pic of all of us (bummer) but here is one of me and the kids before we went to bed to wait for santa! Cawa's is still little and didn't really get into Christmas this year. Camden opened most of his presents for him and he just played with the paper. I didn't get a good picture of that either.
When Camden opened her piggy bank on Christmas morning it was like there where no other presents at all. She was done. Man, I should have just got her that! Would have saved on alot of other shopping.
Dad got Camden some little ponies to paint and they were a hit. She is an artist at heart!

Snowed in!!!

Let it snow!! Let it snow!! Let it snow!! I have really enjoyed the snow this year. It's cold and windy but i don't have to go anywhere if i don't want to, so that freedom is making this holiday season a little less stressful. I don't have to check the roads to make sure we can even get to Utah and I am totally being spoiled, i just may stay home for Christmas every year. My excuse "we are snowed in, sorry". My parents would have a small issue with that but that understandable.

Camden loves to go play in the snow!! She puts on her "globs" and her coat and she is off. Oh i remember those days. Now i am an old adult and i would rather stay in the warm house. Jk i still enjoy a good snow day. We are going to try sledding this week sometime, so we will let you know how that goes.

So Melinda is way crafty and she started her own craft blog. It's on my friends and family list, called Melindas Messes. It's really cute and she always has cute little crafts for the kids to do. Camden had so much fun making her Christmas tree and it turned out really cute. Thanks Melinda for the cute ideas!!

This seriously entertained Camden for hours. I gave her the glue and tons of Bow Tie pasta and little puff balls and she went to town.

This is her cute little finished Christmas tree. She hung it on the fridge for everyone to see.

Holiday Fun!!!

Mr. Cawa's is turning into quite a daddy's boy!! He loves his dad, when Brook goes to work Cawa's follows him to the door, he wants to go with him instead of hanging out with the girls (I don't blame him).

Mr. Cawa's was a big help this year in putting up the Christmas lights. He would wrap himself up in the lights and crawl away (as far as he could get).

I love Christmas decorations and the kids take after me. So i may just leave them up year round!!

Camden had so much fun putting loads of candy on our gingerbread house. She is at the perfect age for all of the Christmas merryment. Turning on the lights, making treats, passing out neighbor gifts, and everything fun to do at the holidays. Every night as she lays in bed after her stories she asks " mom, what are we doing fun tomorrow?" And i think i have yet to say... "nothing" I think she is one spoiled little monkey.

The finished product. For being in the construction business we sure had a devil of a time with that darn gingerbread house. It is crooked, the roof caved in and all the gum drops fell in the house. Oh well, right!!!

Early Christmas!!

This year Brooks family decided to have our Christmas party a little early!! Because all of us WY kids are just staying up here for the 25th, and we wanted to celebrate with Blake before he left on his mission! Actually it was super nice to have the party early. Cause now when things get crazy with bad weather and all the other many parties, we will be sitting at out house in our jammies!!! Ya, I am so excited for the holidays this year!!
For Christmas this year Grandpa and Grandma gave Camden a tent. Talk about a hit!! I think i might just take back all her other presents!!! She loves it. She always wants her "beautiful tent" up! She eats lunch in it and watches her shows in, just about everything!! It is so fun, thanks Grandma!!!
Every year for our Christmas party we read the story of Christs birth from the scriptures and all the kids dress up as the charaters. This year the kids actually dressed up (usually they take off the stuff before we even get a pic.) Camden was the angel. She loved her little outfit!

Mr. Cawa's is the youngest grandchild (not for long, congrats Ashlee) so he got to be baby Jesus! He was a little big for a newborn (but not by much, thats the sad thing)

He liked to sit up instead of laying down but he actually stayed in his little craddle.

We decided that since we didn't have enough kids for all the parts that Blake could dress up for one more year. He was a good sport! He played Joseph, Kenzie was Mary, Camden was the angel, and then Cawa's was baby Jesus. It was fun!!

Good Question??????

Question?? Where does the time go?? I swear sometimes time goes by soooo slow. Like when your kids are sick, or there is a really boring speaker at church, ya!! Well i want to know why time goes by so fast the rest of the time. It is already December and Christmas time again, really????. Wow, it was a fast year and now our kids are getting so big. I guess i just want them to stay little forever and it is not going well so far!!
This is Camden doing her sexy pose!! Trying to hold her face serious but she can't help but smile!! Oh ya, and that is Brooks sexy leg!!!(he is going to kill me)
Here are my good little helpers!! Laundry is always a group activity at our house. I always get so much help!! I guess it is good practice cause 1 more year and Camden is going to be doing her own laundry!!! I think 3 is plenty old enough!!!

Camden found her new hiding place for hide and seek!! Shh!!!!

Mr. Cawa's loves the raman noodles. He had started the stage where he all the sudden can't stand baby food and he will only eat big kid food, oh and he has to feed himself. It is really cute but i am a little worried about his new found independence. I think Camden was a little older than 10 months when she started that.

I still think it pretty cute though!!!

Shout out for Blake!!!!

Brook little brother Blake left today for two years on a mission to Budapest Hungary!! We will miss him tons!! But we know he will be an awsome missionary. The last few months Blake has been coming up here to WY to work with the boys and has been staying at our house. We have all ( including cawa's) grown quite attached to Blake. It was always such a good help with the kids and I know Brook loved having him around to talk riding with!! We will miss him but two years will fly right by. Good Luck, we love you!!!

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Our turkey this year was really cute!! We just didn't have the heart to cook him!! jk Mr Cawas was helping us make dinner and we found a perfect seat for him.
Camden and her cousin Harley had fun making balloon turkeys while we waited for dinner to cook. They had lots of fun!!!

Camden was a big help in the kitchen this year. She helped Grandma make just about everything. It was fun to go down to Utah and spend time with the fam. We were glad Jay came up from AZ and Jens could have his kids. It was really fun to see everyone.
