The end is in sight!!!

I think 9 months old is a hard age. At least it is hard for Mr Cawas. The last couple weeks have been tough for our little man! Well it turned cold here, and fast. So naturally we all get colds, for little Cawas he gets his colds in his chest. He lost his voice, so bad i could not even hear him crying in the other room. It was so sad. Then he is at that awakward crawling stage so he is not very corrdinated, so he had 4 overlapping bruises on his forehead. (it's hard to see)

Well if you look really close you can see the little guy. Ya thats a long way!!! Well the worst mom of the year award goes to...... oh ya me!!!!!! Do you see the gate off to the right. Yep, thats where the gate was when Mr Cawa's went from where i am, down to where he is!!!! Oh ya, worst mom EVER!!! I felt so bad for my boy. He was fine though, just a little scared and he did have a carpet burn on top of his bruised forehead. Ya like i said, not the best couple of weeks for cawas!

Then after all that, Cawa's got a virus called Rosieola. It's a really bad fever for like 4 days then he breaks out in spots. It was not a very good week and we had to go down to Utah for grandpa greats funeral, so cawa's at least got to cuddle with his grandpa. But he was pretty unhappy for about 3 weeks total. No smiling, no laughing. no playing!! No fun for anyone envolved! 2 trips to the dr's, lots of medicine, and lots of sleepless nights, the end had to be near. Then yesterday we got our little boy back. He was playing, and laughing(you could actually hear his voice) i was so happy that he felt better. Nothing worse than sick kids!!!

Oh ya baby!!! Its Bret Michaels!!! Okay it really is Brook! For those of you who don't know who Bret Michaels is he is the lead singer of the band Poisen and also the star of Rock Of Love!!! We had this halloween party at a friends house and we went as Bret Michaels and i was just a groupie (ya i didn't look near as good as Brook, thats why no pic!!) We had tons of fun, I totally forget how fun it is to get dressed up and go out!!

RAWRR!!!!

Mr Cawa's was a little lion for Halloween and he actually loved his costume. He crawled all around with his tail dragging behind him it was so cute!!!

Camden chose her own costume. I tried to get her to be sponge bob, a princess, a fairy, anything but she said she wanted to be a spooky witch!!!(Like mother, like daughter i guess) She looked very cute, i mean spooky! She had so much fun trick or treating. She says trick or treat, smell my feet!! It's funny but don't smell her feet cause really, they STINK!!!!

Halloween Fun!!!

We had such a fun halloween this year! Camden is at the perfect age to totally get into it and i think that halloween is by far her favorite holiday. Cawa's is not so sure!!
We made this "Spooky" cake (as Camden calls it) for the ward halloween party and it turned out really cute!!

This was the kids contribution to making the cake!! Hurry and eat as much batter as we can get before mom can do the dishes, then it was on to frosting. Like they don't get enough candy anyway lets load up on the sugar please!!!!

Brook and Blake carved the pumpkins and even if they don't admit it they did have fun!!

I figured the kids were to little for the carving so we bought a Haunted House for them to make. As you can tell by their faces it think it was a hit!! Thanks grandma for the spooky jammies!

Trip to the AZ!!!!

Last week we went a very fun vacation with my parents to Phoenix Arizona to visit Jay(my brother) and Lacey and Tyler(some close friends)!!! It was so---oo much fun!! Thanks mom and dad for planning the fun vaca!!!! We had a little spare time between soccer games (go chokes) and golf, so we decided to go to the local zoo!! It was hot but Camden still had tons of fun seeing all of the animals and spending time with her uncle Jay!! She found this little cave and thought she was cute stuff hiding in there.

They had a spray park in the zoo and i think that really was Camden favorite part. She got soaked but that was good cause it was plenty hot!! A lot different than the fall/winter weather we were having at home!!

Sometimes I really wonder who the 2 year old is????

It was a little hot for Mr. Cawa's taste! (I think he is a WY boy at heart, thats scary!!!!) Even though he was hot plus the 4 teeth he was cutting, he still managed to be a happy boy!!!

Best Present EVER!!!!!

Happy Birthday to Brook!!! For Brooks birthday this year he got the best present ever!!! He got his family forever and ever and ever and ever!!! (There is no out-doing this one next year) It was Brooks birthday Oct 11th and that same day we were sealed in the temple. It was an awsome experience!!! We had tons of our family and friends there to support us and it was totally awsome!! Thank you to everyone that came and everyone who was wishing they could be there!!
Camden was such a perfect little angel, and she looked like one too!! She wore a beautiful dress that my mom made for her and it was perfect!! Thanks mom!!!!
Mr. Cawa's was a good little boy too! He looked so handsome with his big boy spiky hair!!! His cute little outfit and sockys were perfect. Thanks Carol!!!!

Night Time

Bath time here at the smith house is hands down the funnest time of the day!!! Carter loves the water. He sits and splashes himself over and over then he just laughs. It is so cute!!!
This is Camdens favorite bath time activity. She always wants her hair up with soap then she wants to look in the mirror. It makes her hair look so long!
Do not let this picture fool you, look close. This may look a lot like Camden but this is in fact Melvin the used car salesman!! Everynight in order to get Camden out of the tub we have to say "Do you want to be Melvin?" Then she will let us wash her and get her out then we have to slick her hair back and then she transforms into Melvin! She slowly morphs back into Camden as the night goes on (and her hair drys). She loves it she will even tell you her name is Melvin. Funny little nut!!!
Mr Cawa's after bath hair is usually spiky but this day we were feeling a little nerdy so we parted his hair. He looked so goofy!! It was cute(not our style) but cute!!
Sometimes Cawa's get so tired he needs a little pick-me-up at night!! We have to start training at a young age to stay up late and sleep in, sometimes he needs a little help!! Carter may look like his dad but he for sure is my kid to cause boy does he love the Mt Dew!!! It really is cute he gets so excited when he sees a green can. (Ya i know my mom and mother-in-law won't think it's very funny)

He's a PRO!!!

Brook loves going to the sand dunes with his buddies. He went a few weeks ago with his bff Marky Mark (sorry chase). They had a blast and got some really cool pictures. Mark was the photographer so Brook is the star in all these pics!!!
It was really windy that day(normal day here in WY) but it made for some cool effect!!
