Pumpkin Carving Party

We had our annual pizza pumpkin carving party this year and it was a hit! The older the kids get the more they get into the carving part!

 Carter loves it.
He didn't even want to play with his friends, he just wanted to carve his pumpkin.

Concentration!
I am a slacker this year and didn't even get a picture of the finished products!

I hope everyone had fun! My house is not huge so with our big group of friends usually we end up way to crowded! Sorry guys!!

Luckily it was super good weather for the end of October and most of the kids ended up out back on the tramp. It was a WWF ring out there!

Grandpas Pumpkin Patch

At the end of September we went to Utah to visit the fam. It was nice to spent time with cousins and Grandpa and Grandma. The kids loved it.

These kids all play so good together. They have so much fun!

My dad has a pumpkin patch in his backyard where he has grown the best pumpkins for all of his grandkids. He loves it and the kids love it even more. It is fun! The kids all got to pick out their own pumpkin. Cawas ran straight to the one he wanted!

Standing by the pumpkins that they picked in Grandpas pumpkin patch.

He couldn't wait to carve his pumpkin!

Colbie picked this awesome white pumpkin. It is way cool. So cool I didn't have the heart to cut it! I love it!

Crew was happy to hangout with his pumpkins. The kids picked a pumpkin for their baby brother. This baby is still so happy and so chubby and cute. We love him!!

All the kids with their pumpkins and their Grandpa! We love you Grandpa!! Thank you!!

First Day of School

The  first day of school doesn't mean much to this little lady yet but she just had to get her picture taken like her big brother and sister!! It took Colbie a few days to get used to the idea that Camden and Carter were gone for a few hours a day! She cried for awhile and then I think she realized for those few hours she rules the roost. This little bossy pants likes that!!

As close to thumbs up as she could get! Pretty darn cute!!

Carter started is 2nd year of Littlest Learner Preschool. He was pretty excited but I think he didn't even realize he had the summer off. He popped right in and didn't look back. It's scary to think this time next year he will be in kindergarten and gone all day. I am going to cherish our time this year together. He is such a sweet boy!

Although I think he is excited and ready to go to kindergarten!! He loves school!

My big 1st grader!! It's crazy to think how big this kid is getting. Camden loves school and is the best student. She thrives on being the most well behaved kid in her class. The first week of school Camden came home and said "mom, 1st grade is not like kindergarten. There are no toys in our classroom, we don't get a snack, we only get 2 recesses instead of 3, and all we do is learn." It was so funny! She better get used to it, she has 12 more years at least!

She was pretty excited to start school this year. I don't think she was as nervous as she was when she started Kindergarten. She was excited to get to know her teacher and so far she loves her!! It's going to be a good year!!

Cabin Time

While the rest of our family went to Lake Powell, Colbie, Crew and I went with my Mom and Lacey and her two kiddos up to the Cabin. It was so much fun to spend some chill time with Lacey and her kids. The cabin is such a nice relaxing place and it was heaven. One day we even drove down to town and did lots of shopping which was so fun, a little crazy with 4 kids but very fun!!
Lacey and Aspyn!
We celebrated Aspyns birthday while we were at the cabin. A big girl 3 year old! It funny how different Lacey and I are and then we have 2 little girls that are scary similar. Little sweetheart terrors!

Grandma and Crewbear!

Perfect little present!

A bubble tub! A cabin tradition!

One night we had the cousins all come up and play. So many kids and so much fun!

We went for lots of walks and spent lots of time at the playground. We only had 2 umbrella strollers so Crew and Chezney got to ride and Colbie and Aspyn had to walk all the way to the park. They were troopers cause it is quite a hike. Especially since it is up hill both ways!

We also spent lots of time throwing rocks and wading in the river. These two are peas in a pod!!

Lake Powell 2012

Lake Powell is always one of the best weeks of the year. This year I decided with Crew being so little and Colbie being, well Colbie, I would stay home with the two littles. It was sad and really hard to know we were missing all of the fun. We did have fun during that week(next post) but it is still a very hard party to miss. Brook took the two big kids and they had plenty of fun without us. Carter was pretty excited to try water skiing for the first time.

And he did awesome. I am so proud of him. Such a brave boy!!

He was pretty excited that he did it. I can't wait until next year when I get to watch him!!

Camden is an old pro at skiing but she did awesome again this year!! She is still a fish and loves the water.

They look so cute up there on the ski. So little to be doing so good! I love it!

Just chillin on the house boat.

Grandma brought a bunch of little ducks that they would throw out into the water and the kids would all jump in and swim to them. Cawas loved this game.

Hiking up to the Indian Ruins.

Another successful year in the books.

So Clean

Tub Time!!
I can't resist a tub towel picture! When I see a towel picture I can almost smell how sweet and clean this baby is. I love it. This kid looks so chubby in all of his pictures. Those cheeks are huge!! And that double chin, amazing!! I have never had a chubby baby! And I am loving it!!

Crews Blessing

On August 5th we blessed our little Crew man. It was such a nice day. It always stresses Brook out to bless the kids but he did awesome!

My mom made Crew little blessing outfit and it is so cute!! She did amazing!! I love it. She always does such a good job. She even had his name embroidered in the front little pocket. It is so cute!

Grandma and Crew!

Our family, minus Cawas who was being a little turd. Half of the pictures he was screaming and climbing up Brook so we opted to take the picture without him.

We love Grandpas and Grandmas!!!
We are so blessed to have such an amazing family. Everybody made the trip up to be there for us on Crews big day. Thanks everybody!!
