Girls Camp

This year was my first year going to girls camp as a LEADER!!(oh that makes me sound old) It was really fun but i totally slacked at the camera thing so my pics are random and few.

Show me your muscles!!

Camden was really goofy the other night and i couldn't resist!! I love my cute little girl!!!

I did a "craft it forward" post a few months ago and part and the rules are that when we get the craft we post a pic. We got a package in the mail the other day and Camden was so excited especially when she opened it and these amazingly cute flip flops, just her size, was in it!! Thanks Chantel they are so freakin cute and Camden loves them. She calls them "my flip flops that my best friend Madison made for me" They are a hit, thanks!!!

My "craft it forward" craft is almost complete then i will send it to my lucky winners, stay tuned!!!

Happy 4th (a little late)

Hope everyone had an awesome 4th!! We did, a little chill but really fun! I made this fun, very yummy cake. Thanks for the tips, Lace!!!
During the day the kids had fun playing outside. We made a road on the drive way with side walk chalk and the kids had fun racing!

Then we went to a BBQ at the Hammonds! Always good food and good company. Thanks for the party!! After we had our own firework show in front of the house. Fireworks are such a hit with little kids, it was really fun this year.

Seriously...man i suck!!

Sorry this pic is a little blurry my camera sucks. If you can see it, it is a picture of my poor babys hand. Burned, yet again. I really debated blogging this for fear someone would call the child protective services on me. Ya, i totally suck at being a mom. My baby is not even 18 months yet and he had fallen down the stairs, burned himself, twice, and bumps and bruises that can't even be counted. Man, I really suck!!!
We were at young womens a few weeks ago and using the a iron and right as everyone was getting ready to go Mr Cawa's went over to explore the iron (on the floor, ya crappy mom) and burned his hand. There was a big line down the middle of his hand and then all up his middle and ring finger. Huge blisters were there the next day, i felt so bad. It has been a few weeks now and he has healed up pretty much but i still take the worst mom of the year award(yet again) this time!! Please don't call social services on me!!

Bear Lake

This past week we went with all of Brooks family to Bear Lake for a fun vacation. We had so much fun, thanks Stuart and Carol for the fun times!!! We took these fun bikes out one afternoon they were tons of fun.


Camden loved her new little cousin Libby. She pulled her around all day, just kidding but it made for a cute pic.

This is how Cawa's spent his vacation. Playing in the sand and water every chance he got. I think he thought that this lake was made special for kids his size, mr independent.

Since we don't get together all that often anymore we decided to take advantage of this chance. We tried to catch everyone happy but with 8 grandkids now we are bound to get one that is not happy. This time it happened to be Chan-man.

Ya, while we were there we tried to get a cute pic of our little family. Cawa's is just at the age where taking pictures is the last thing he wants to do. Ashlee got a few on her camera so we will see if any of them are better.

Melinda got a good idea while we were hanging out on the beach, to make this awesome life size croc. It turned out way good.

Camden loved it. She was petting it like it was her pet croc. We wondered where Carol went, she got a little too close.

Boys and their Toys

So i sent Brook to the store tonight (at like 10:30) for a few groceries for our vacation and guess what he came home with...

oh ya, a 4-wheeler!!!

For real, do you know how many times i asked my parents for a power wheel and i never in my life got one (it's okay mom, i got over it) but my spoiled rotten little children get one for no reason at all. It's not Christmas, nobodys birthday, just for the h- of it.What i nice daddy!!

So we put it together and Cawa's got to try it out. Ya it's like midnight and he is still going strong, Camden crashed but she will try it out in the morning. It was really cute once he figured it out. I thought he would throw himself off it the way he guns it. Thanks daddy!!! (Next time i think i will just go to the store myself, shhh)

Jam time

Something i have always wanted to do was make some yummy freezer strawberry jam. I have never dared to make it cause i always pictured it in my head being really hard, taking like all day, having jam splattered all over my kitchen including the walls and celing, and my kids being ornery and screaming cause i have ignored them all day just for a few jars of jam. Ya, sometimes i have quite and imagination.

Finally I braved it and i was very pleasently surprised. It was way easy. It took like 3 hours and we were taking our time. I didn't even hardly have a mess (even with my two little helpers) and Mr. Cawa's slept the whole time. It was amazing. My friend Alison helped me and we made 4 batches. It was really fun. But there are no guarantees on what it tastes like!!
