Back to Normal

She might look like a weirdo in this pic but at least she is weirdo without a cast on her leg! Colbie got her cast off on the Wednesday before Memorial  Day. She was so excited! She didn't really love the "getting it cut off process" but she did pretty good. Her leg smelled awful like something had crawled up in her cast and died. But hey what can you expect from a 2 year old. She wore the hard cast for 5 weeks and 3 days. So ya you can imagine the smell. She also had lots of sand  in her cast. From all of her trips in the sand box.

Colbie had a pretty awesome tan line to. And she still even a week later walks like her cast is on. She still gimps around. The Dr says that can last up to 3-4 weeks. Fun!! We are so happy her leg healed and she is back to her normal spunky self!!

Dino Museum

I know I have  mentioned this before but my kids have THE BEST preschool teacher. I just love her! She is a kid whisperer. At the end of the 4 year old preschool the kids take a field trip up the College and check out the Dino Museum. And because my kids are all spaced so timely I have always had a kid leaving MerLee for kindergarten and then one going into MerLee. So I usually tag along with that child so they can kind of get an idea what school with MerLee will be like the following Sept. Blah Blah if that makes any sense.

Well Colbie got to come this year (which is crazy to me that she is starting preschool in a few months) but she thought she was the Coolest thing EVER!! She would stand with the class and old the rope but sometimes because of her broken leg she would ride in the stroller but when she was with the class she would constantly look back at me with this face...it doesn't get much better for this girl. Being treated like a big kid!!

Up at the College they also have this awesome animal exhibit. I was amazed at all of the animals they had in it. I didn't know also of them even existed. Carter standing next to the Grizzle!

Having a snack with his friends!

Such a big girl! In another 2 years we will be doing this with Colbies class and Crew will be the big boy getting ready for preschool...ahhh!!

Goofballs!

These goofy kids never miss a chance  for a silly picture! I have to take about 10 of these pictures in order to talk them into a smiling picture. Which sometimes I still never get! Goofballs!!

At least this boy knows the drill. When the camera is pointed at you and mom says your name with "that voice". You look up and smile!!!

Green thumb

When my parents came up they brought us this awesome planter from Costco. It was so pretty, so one warm afternoon Colbie and I busted out our green thumbs and planted it! Lets just say my green thumb has turned Green from Mountain Dew not gardening! But Colbie loved playing in the dirt.

Finished product! Now lets see how long I can keep these alive! I struggle with flowers.

birthday/mothers day weekend

A few weeks ago my parents came up to celebrate my birthday and mothers day. It was on the same weekend so it all worked out. They babysat our kids so that Brook and I could go golfing. It was so fun and so nice of them to come all the way up here to be with us!

Colbie loves her Papa!

Crew was happy to see Grandma and Grandpa. It took him 2 seconds to warm up to them!

All of the Kiddos with Grandma on Mothers Day!

My mommy and me! I love my mom so much! She is the best mom EVER!!! She is always there for me when I need to vent and she doesn't judge me for my silly drama. She always knows the perfect advise to give me. She truly cares about me and my life...like she knows all of my friends names and faces so she knows who I am talking about when I talk about my day! She would drop everything if I needed her. She would literally give me the shirt off her back if I asked! I am not kidding she is THE BEST MOM EVER!!! Plus she is such an amazing Grandma to my kids! They absolutely love her and love spending time with her! I won the Mom Lottery! Thanks for being such a great mom, mom!!! I love you!!!

My cute family on Mothers Day!

Camden and Grandma!!

One mess of a kid

One thing I love about summer.. eating dinner outside! My kids think its the greatest thing ever and I just love being outside! We had spaghetti outside the other day and it was a good thing we did. This boy can make a mess with his dinner!

He enjoyed watching the kids jump on the tramp while he ate. Dinner and a show.

Plus being outside makes clean up after this... much easier!

photo shoot

It was a beautiful day the other day so we decided to head down town to our favorite photo shoot area and had a impromptu photo shoot. My kids are always so good to cooperate. Crew is at a hard age and just wants to explore and eat everything off the ground. So I took about 200 pictures and only got about 10 good ones but oh well, that's the perks of digital cameras.

Colbie was a great little model. She was smiley and happy to pose for me. What a cutie!

Carter was happy to smile too, which surprised me. He said afterwards "taking pictures is so fun"!!
