Grandma

We love when Grandma comes to visit. She came up Easter weekend and stayed for a few days. The kids loved it and of course I only got a few pictures. Grandma got the boys cute matching jammies and Carter was super excited to match his baby brother.  

Kisses for Grandma! Colbie loves her Grandma. I got the cutest picture ever of these two and I accidently deleted it. Oh I was so mad! I guess Grandma will just have to come visit again!

Camden, I can't believe how but this girl is getting!

 Carter was sick and didn't go to church so he didn't have his outfit on. So because I didn't want to worry about taking pictures with only half of my family, we just did a little impromptu shoot. It was cool and windy so my kids didn't last long.

This was the best I can get with this baby. As soon as I put him down and back up to take the picture he is crawling after me, little turkey!

After our photo shoot the kids found their Easter baskets and then they had a fun Egg hunt in the back yard. They had so much fun!

It's not hard to find the brightly colored Easter Eggs around in the dead yellow grass. Someday soon (hopefully) it will nice and green and soft!

Dying Easter Eggs

These kids have been bugging me to dye Easter eggs forever. They love it. I have no idea why cause its always over in 5 mins but oh that 5 mins is the best! They could hardly wait for me to hard boil the eggs.

The finished product! As you can see Colbie got ahold of most of the eggs and dyed them all pink. Crazy kid. It is her favorite color!

A Sad Day

This group of girls are the best friends anybody could ask for! So many lunches, park days, movies, walks, dinners, pounce nights, holidays, and bachelor nights with these ladies. We have bonded and shared (sometimes to much information) and become so close. We have some good stories and memories that will forever make us laugh. But... its a sad day in WY when one of us moves away. Today was that day and we will all miss April terribly. Good thing Utah is only a few hours away!

Last weekend we had to have our last hurrah, although it turned into lots of "last hurrahs". We went to dinner bummed at the mall and then went to the late night showing of  The Host. It was such a fun night that we will all never forget!

scavenger hunt

Every year my in laws put on the best Easter Scavenger hunt for the grandkids. We were headed back to WY for Easter so Grandma Carol put on an early scavenger hunt for just my kids. How awesome is she!! First they started in the family room and found the first clue. Then the went up and down the neighborhood gathering clues and prizes at every stop.

This is just how fun my kids have with their grandma. I love this picture cause they are just so happy!

The scavenger hunt ended up meeting grandpa with a subway picnic at an awesome park. It was so fun! The kids had a blast! Thank you to Grandpa and Grandma for the fun times!!

Even Crew enjoyed the warm weather and the picnic at the park.

The Zoo

These kiddos love the zoo. While we were down for spring break we had to go to the zoo.  The kids loved the new area with the polar bear and seals. That was their favorite part.

Colbie is a hard child sometimes and our outings in Utah were no exception. She is always... not wanting to go with us when we are ready to move on, she doesn't want to walk or ride in the stroller or be carried, she wanted to go the other way, she doesn't want to go either way...either way this kid is usually throwing a fit or pouting or screaming and crying or just being difficult. This picture of Colbie and Grandma just catches the real Colbie. Cute as a button but oh so stubborn.

We met a few friends from WY at the zoo and the kids loved exploring with their friends!

 Me and my handsome boy with the giraffes. I love the giraffes, they just don't make sense too me and I could watch them for hours. Plus I just love the little baby, so cute!!

Camden riding her Giraffe. She was a little bummed to find out that this one didn't go up and down but she didn't complain. Cute girl!! We had so much fun at the zoo and the weather was so nice!
