The Perfect Smore!!!

For the past 3 years I have wanted to go up to the top of White Mtn. and have a little marshmallow roast!! And finally we put it together. I usually wait til summer to think about planning a smore trip and then things just get way to busy and it's never happens. So i would like to think that i wised up a little bit and we put it together now. It was a little chilly and windy (duh) but still we had a lot of fun!!

Brook took up his little 50 motorcycle and it Reed brought his 4-wheeler. Needless to say it was a hit!! The kids swarmed them wanting ride after ride!!

Mr. Cawa's on a 4-wheeler ride!! Cawas's whole little life revolves around motorcycles and 4-wheelers. I think it's cute how much he loves it at such a young age. He was such a happy camper!!

music to my ears...

The best sound in the whole world(in my opinion) is kids laughing!! It really is music to my ears... especially when they are laughing and playing together. Last night my kids were watching a movie in my room at least i thought they were. But all i could here was screaming and non-stop giggling. It was so stinking cute!

I love how they love each other! I think that makes me about the happiest mom... ever!!!!

So anyway last night i went in to check on them and their giggling. And the cause to all the laughter was so simple and i love that about kids. They were just jumping and wrestling on the bed. I love how the simplest things can be the best!!

Usually i would say this would end in tears but suprisingly last night everyone escaped injury free!!

Just happy to have a buddy to play with!!

Whoa baby...

I am sitting here in my kitchen sewing on some baby blankets and getting a little nervous. I am praying my fence does not blow down! Holy crap it's a windy day, i know i say that a lot but it really does blow all the time up here. And just a breeze i don't mind so much anymore but i get worried when it blows like this. Lets just hope my Brook and my dad did a good job putting in my fence cause it's sure just a rockin!!

I have had some requests for a baby bump photo, and i just can't bring myself to document this for everyone to see. Sorry! But i did go to the dr on Friday and everything is doing well. Baby #3 is growing good. Baby weighs 3lbs5oz and is very active. It is still up in the air if we are getting a baby boy or girl. We have our guesses. Brook thinks girl, i think boy, Camden thinks boy, and Cawa's says girl half the time and boy the other half. So with the gender up in the air that also leaves the name up in the air. I pick a name i like and then Brook vito's it about a month later. Boo, i hope this one comes with a name on the bottom of it's foot!!

still waiting...

Oh how these days are missed!! Shorts and t-shirts, playing outside til dark. We had a stretch for a couple with weeks with beautiful weather and almost 0 wind. And we were outside all day, everyday. Now we are back to freezing cold, snow and 40mph wind!! Boo, for that!!

...finding inside things to do. I can't complain cause this is one of Cawa's favorite things to do and i love it. He was never really a book kid, but lately i find him with everybook pulled out just sitting quietly reading away, oh so sweet!!

This is the other half of the day. Standing on the table, watching, waiting for a 4-wheeler(ler-ler-ler) or a motorcycle(mum,mum bike) to drive up into the hills. He can honestly stand here forever just watching. It's so cute and totally dedicated!!

Like everyone, our house is not so patiently waiting for spring-summer!!

Ahhhh....naptime

I love, love, love my kiddos and they are totally not high maintenance or high strung children but nap time at my house is such a peaceful little break!! Usually i enjoy the peace and quite by sleeping right next to Mr. Cawas!! Camden doesn't always join us for our naps but the last few days (I think because of the poopy weather) she has wanted to take a little rest with us!! Oh, i just love those sleeping faces!!

So today is my Dads birthday!! And like the slacker that i am i didn't get a card to him so i am sending a video card via my blog!! So Happy Birthday Grandpa, We love you and miss you and have a GREAT BIRTHDAY!!!

Project update...

Brook along with many others think that my "nesting phase" has kicked in!! My list of projects mentioned in the previous post is completely checked off. I won't list you all of the tiny little things but it does include deep cleaning of closets, my car, painting bathrooms, sorting overloaded dressers and many other unfinished house projects. Doesn't sound like much but for me it was a daunting tast!! The "nesting phase" theroy might be right(it's a little early but i guess if i am this motivated for the next 21/2 months i can get a lot done) I have another theory... i think that this is just the first week in about the last 61/2 months where my head hasn't been stuck in a toilet. So i can actually get something productive done and who knows how long it will last so i am taking full advantage! (knock on wood) So yes, i am happy to report my "TO DO" list... done!! Now we can go out and enjoy this beautiful weather(knock on wood)!!
