Party Time!!

For Cawa's birthday last week we were in Utah so we decided to have a party for him. My amazing mother-in-law made all of the pizza and we had to food and cake part at her house!! So a huge thank you to her!!
We went swimming at the Clearfield aquatic center (which was really fun)!! Here are some of the non-swimming spectators!!!

This is proof that even I got in the swimming pool. It may not have been a pretty sight but i sacrificed for my baby!!

Cawa's was having a rough day because of his lip but he still had fun on the baby slide. He wanted to go over and over again.

Grandma bought Cawa's this train set for his birthday and he love, love, loves it. It has been set up everyday since his birthday. Thanks Grandma and thanks to everyone who came to Cawa's party!!

the perfect birthday...almost

Cawa's had such a good birthday, til the very end. We were at Grandma and Grandpa's house so that is a plus from the start. Grandma started out the day with pancakes and a morning birthday song!!
We had a fun day with Grandma and Grandpa. We went out to eat, went to a basketball game, then finished the day off with cake and presents!!

Cawa's was so excited playing with his toys, he was running around playing so happily and then....disaster hit!

He fell off the window seat and put his top teeth through his bottom lip. And he ripped that little piece of gum on the top lip thats connected to the front teeth. He was bleeding all over and miserable that night and all the next day.

This is the outside of his lip. (don't mind his dirty mouth, he won't let me clean it very good, still) this picture was taken today so his poor injury happened 3 days ago.

Here is the inside of his lip. It's kind of gross, sorry if you have a weak stomach. It looks like his teeth cause it's white but that is the inside of his lip.

I am hoping that it heals right. I am a little worried but what do you do now!!

Mr. Cawa's is 2!!

My baby is 2!!

Wow, where did the time go? He was so little and sweet, and it doesn't seem that long ago! I will try not to go on and on about my baby but i will tell you a few things that Mr. Cawa's loves!!!

He loves his big sister!!
He loves to cook, bake or do anything in the kitchen!!

He loves his daddy!

He loves motorcycles(dirt bikes)!

He loves choo-choo trains!!
He loves to cuddle with his mom and dad at night!

1st birthday!!!

He loves splashing in any kind of water!!

He loves his pa-pa's very very much!
He loves to be with his dad in the garage!

Cawa's is such a fun part of our family and we love him very, very much!!!

Holy Baby Powder!!!

Last night we were all just hangin out being lazy and the kids were playing by me while i sat on the couch playing on the computer. They decided to play in Cawa's room which has most of the toys so that is normal. They shut the door, which normally we don't let them but hey i said i was being lazy. So they were playing for like 25 mins or so and laughing hysterically (which should have been my first clue) anyway they were having fun, so then a few mins later Cawa's comes out and shows me a little thing a baby powder which i don't even pay attention (bad mom and my second clue). I didn't even look at him then he ran back into his room, passing Brook in the hall and Brook said "Whats wrong with his pants?" Lightbulb!!! and this is what i find...

Pure joy with a fine layer of white powder on top (of everything)!!!
It was actually really cute cause they said they were learning how to change a babys diaper, to get ready for the new baby.

How on earth do you get mad at this sweet little innocent face?!?

You don't, i just laughed and cleaned it up. I asked Camden if she was going to play with baby powder again and she said "No... it's all gone!"

At least i will have some good helpers when the baby comes. But i think i need some more baby powder!!!

Super Grateful

Too much information alert!!!

Yes i just wanted to say how amazingly grateful i am for these porcelain thrones and also clorox wipes!!! It has been my constant companion for the last 4 months and especially the last 2 weeks!! So thank you to whoever the genius is who invented these!!!
We forget how grateful we are for somethings until they are gone and everything hits you all at once. Brook has been out of town this past week and it helps me realize how much he helps me out with the kiddos especially when i am... refer to pic above--.
Cawa's is a daddys boy and this is where he spent most of the week. Just hoping that the truck he heard would be dads!! It was super sweet but a little sad too. He missed his daddy very much to say the least!! He is definitely on the top of my gratful list!!!

CraZy hAIr daY

It's sad that in my house a "crazy hair day" is when we actually DO our hair. With church at 1 now we actually have some time to do Camdens hair, and she has been wanting pigtails for quite awhile. So she sported this at church. This is as fancy as i get. Yes, i am boring but we make do with the skills we have!!

At least the part is straight, right!!
But that is one cute little girl, i must say!!

Cawa's on the other hand gets a real "crazy hair day"! Sporting the "Alfalfa" look!! I had to put this pic in even though you can't see the tail just to show you that this little boy loves to get his hair done. More than any kid, let alone a boy.

Capes and Cooking!!!

For Christmas Camden got a dress up box that is her very favorite thing. She is always running out of her room dressed up differently. She has so much fun so i am trying to get some more stuff to fill up her treasure box. My mother-in-law has these cool capes in her dress up box so i stole the idea and the kids love them. They were super easy to make, it took me about 15 mins.

They got to pick out their own fabric at Walmart and here is the finished product!!
(I have the pattern if anyone wants to whip a few up.)

We decided that we have not had enough crap lately, so we made a cake last night and the kids were enjoying the extras. It was too cute to pass up so i had to have a photo shoot.

I love how he is cross eyed!!
